monastery and the small settlements in the surrounding area. Mushroom specialities are available everywhere in the region, and if you would still like to see something different you can reach the Adriatic coast in just one hour's drive! Destinations worth seeing in the area are Caprese Michelangelo, Michelangelo's birth place, and the charming towns of Sansepolcro and Anghiari. The access road is unpaved and somewhat difficult.
